Safe boating is "no accident"
That's what the Coast Guard Public Service Announcements used to say back when I was a kid. I wonder if the owner of Temporary Insanity ever saw those commercials?

Evidently John's son was piloting the boat, "Temporary Insanity" in Chesapeake Bay at the time, with a friend, and the worst injury was a broken leg. Don says that the last he knew, John Ventresca was living in the Washington, D.C. area.
The two of them (Don & John) hung around with Tony Yonovak, first guy in the left, kneeling. but Don lost track of Tony over the years and doesn't know what happened to him.

My 2nd contact. Received an e-mail from Stanley Studniary's son, Chris, advising that he had come across his dad's name on the Company "C" Roster on the Internet, and he was sad to report that Stan passed away in August 2002, while living in Reno, Nevada. Am sorry that we hadn't made contact with Stan before his passing.
Stan was born in Windher, Pennsylvania August 16, 1936, the youngest and ninth child of Polish immigrants. He married Roberta Conielko in May 1960, after Basic Training, He and Roberta had two children, son Chris, born in 1961 and a daughter born in 1962.
Stan lived for awhile in El Paso, Texas, and then in a suburb of Los Angeles, until 1983. He then moved to Zephyr Cove (Lake Tahoe), Nevada, where he lived until 1998. Stan lost a leg, below the knee, in an automobile accident. He then moved to Reno, Nevada, where he passed away in August 2002 or a massive coronary.

My 3rd contact. Received a telephone call from Jodie Seaborn, 3rd to my left in the photo, advising me that he had used the new search engine, Bing, and searched his name and found it listed on the Company "C" web page. Jodie had e-mailed me back in June 2009, but the e-mail got misplaced and I never got a chance to contact him.
After basic training, Jodie was sent to Artillery School at Fort Sill, Oklahoma for Advanced Training, , and then returned to the Arkansas National Guard. He then decided to join the U.S. Air Force, and was a Air Police Officer, and was stationed in Korea, New Mexico, with TDY stints in Germany and Libya.
After his tour of duty with the Air Force ended, Jodie went back to school and acquired a college degree. After attaining his degree, Jodie joined the U.S. Navy for a four year tour of duty.
Jodie is presently living in Menomonie, Wisconsin, with his lovely wife of 44 years, Carol.
